First Grade is in need of supplies for their Design Engineering project . If you can send any of these supplies, it will be greatly appreciated!
Watch YouTube Videos without distractions on Watchkin.Thank you Ms. Jokay, Windsor's Speech and Language Pathologist, for sharing this!
Students shared favorite poems and poetry they wrote. After each poem the audience snapped their fingers instead of clapping! Thank you Maeve for sharing your poem on friendship with us! So much joy!!! Destiny Quest has an App for the iPads. We have repurposed 5 of our original iPads to become Look Up stations. They are logged into Destingy Quest as Guests. Students type into the search window to find books.
They can also Log in to see their records, put books on hold, and write book reviews. Just make sure to Log out of your account when finished searching. First graders used Tagxedo.com to create shape poems.Tagxedo is free. We picked a shape. Then clicked on load and entered text. One helpful tip: Use the ~ to connect words like red~tailed~hawk. You can change font, theme, and orientation. The images can be saved, shared, and used on other sites.
Congratulations to our winners! |
